Test Details: This assay is useful in evaluation of
patients with a clinical suspicion of a wide range of Inborn errors of
metabolism specially Organic acidemias and Fatty acid oxidation disorders
including Primary Carnitine deficiency.
Method: LC-MS/MS
Sample Type: 2 mL (1 mL min.) Serum from 1 SST. Separate
serum within 1 hour of collection. Ship refrigerated or frozen. Clinical
details and drug history must accompany sample.
