Non-invasive test for early detection of Colorectal cancer (CRC)
Technique: CMx platform (CTC based test)
Technique: � 10 ml (8 ml minimum) Blood in a EDTA tube provided by Oncquest Laboratories Ltd. and strictly follow shipping instruction.
� To draw blood, use provided butterfly needle to prevent backflow.
� Fill EDTA tube with (10ml of blood)
� Use syringe to withdraw entire content of cell preservative and gently dispense into the EDTA tube.
� Complete the specimen identifier label and affix to the EDTA tube securely.
� Rotate blood gently in tube at least 8-10 times. Do not shake.
Technique: Do not freeze Keep at 6-37 C.
Sample Collection Instruction: Samples must be shipped on a same day.
Use only the tube supplied inside the Oncquest kits. Other tubes will not be accepted. Blood tubes contain chemical additives. It is important to avoid backflow into patient. Test requisition forms must be completed and included in the specimen container. Include all other supporting medical documents. Do not freeze or refrigerate blood samples. Keep at 6-37 C.
� During extreme summer conditions, a cold pack should be included in the specimen container for improved temperature-regulation.
Sample Shipment
� Carefully place filled EDTA tube(s) into the included specimen container. Ensure the container is tightly closed.
� Put the Styrofoam specimen container into the specimen bag, squeeze out excess air, and securely seal the bag.
� Test requisition form and any relevant patient medical records should be placed in the specimen container. Place the did
