Technique: For Whole Blood sample:
2 ml. (1 ml. Minimum) Whole blood in 1 EDTA (Lavender Top) tube AND 2 unstained peripheral blood smears, air dried & sent in a slide mailer.
For PPP sample:
8 ml. (5 ml. Minimum) PPP (Platelet Poor Plasma) from 4 Sodium Citrate tubes prepared
within 1 hr of collection. Aliquot PPP in 5 transport vials and FREEZE.
