Test Code: I0097 IHC Extended Panel

Case material review up to 2 paraffin blocks OR small biopsy specimen, multiple antibodies as required for diagnosis. Additional accessioning required for specimens more than small biopsy or for more than 2 blocks review

Technique: Case material review, Immunohistochemistry, Consultant Pathologist Review and Integrated reports

Technique: Formalin Fixed Paraffin Embedded (FFPE) tissue block/Representative Tissue placed in Formalin sent at room temperature by courier. Polylysine coated/ charged slides are also acceptable (12-15 for FDP; For other panels depending upon the number of markers requested) with an additional H&E slide. Slides to be transported in proper slide mailers (plastic) with proper labelling.

Technique: 18-25 C

Sample Collection Instruction: Detailed clinical history, copies of previous relevant cytology/ histopathology reports, all relevant radiological investigation reports and treating Oncologist/Surgeon contact details for relevant case discussion are mandatory along with TRF.For any FDPs on Bone marrow biopsy specimens, peripheral blood counts, peripheral blood smears and bone marrow aspirate smears are additionally mandatory

Reported on: 7th Working Day if received before 1500 Hrs. Add 1 more day if sample is Tissue in formalin. Add more number of days (at least equivalent to the delay) for cases where the items listed in column Special Instructions for Sample collection are not provided at the beginning.
