Technique: Next generation Sequencing (NGS)and CMX platform (CTC based test)
Technique: CMx Platform: 2 BCT tubes (10ml each) from Streck with preservative. To draw blood, use provided butterfly needle to prevent backflow. Draw 10 ml (8 ml minimum) Blood in a kit provided by Oncquest Laboratories Ltd. and strictly follow shipping instruction. Complete the specimen identifier labels and affix to each BCT tube securely. Rotate blood gently in tube at least 8-10 times. Do not shake.NGS: 1 CTC 10 ml (8 ml minimum) Blood in a EDTA tube provided by Oncquest Laboratories Ltd. and strictly follow shipping instruction.
Technique: Do not freeze Keep at 6-37 C.
Sample Collection Instruction: Samples must be shipped on a same day and collection towards weekend should be avoided.Use only the tube supplied inside the Oncquest kits. Other tubes will not be accepted. Blood tubes contain chemical additives. It is important to avoid backflow into patient. Test requisition forms must be completed and included in the specimen container. Include all other supporting medical documents. Do not freeze or refrigerate blood samples. Keep at 6-37 C.During extreme summer conditions, a cold pack should be included in the specimen container for improved temperature-regulation.Sample Shipment� Carefully place filled EDTA tube(s) into the included specimen container.
