Technique: Collect smears onto 2 glass slides and fix immediately in absolute alcohol for 30 minutes & air dry OR use a cytospray. Do not allow smears to air dry before fixation. Patient to report to Oncquest Main Laboratory or its
Satellite Laboratories.

Requisition form is mandatory.
Submit smears from lateral vaginal wall for Hormonal Pattern & posterior formix for Malignancy. Do not take smears during menstruation.
