Technique: 2 - 3 ml. Whole blood collected & submitted in a set of 3 special QFT GOLD - IT tubes available from Oncquest Laboratories Ltd. Shake the tubes vigorously at least 10 times to ensure thorough mixing. DO NOT CENTRIFUGE Send immediately at room temperature to reach the laboratory within 16 hours of sample collection. OR Incubate the tubes immediately at 37C for 16 - 24 hours. Send refrigerated within 72 hours. OR 2 - 3 ml. Whole blood collected in Lithium Heparin (Green Top) tubes
