Technique: IF SERUM COLLECTED: 2 ml. (1 ml. Minimum) Serum from 1 SST (Red top with no additive).Separate serum from cells within 1 hour of collection. IF PLASMA COLLECTED: 2 ml. Plasma from 1 EDTA tube.
Technique: (-20C) in dry ice.
Sample Collection Instruction: IF SERUM COLLECTED: Do not use SST gel barrier tubes. Separate serum from cells within 1 hour of collection.
IF PLASMA COLLECTED: Separate plasma immediately and freeze. Send Frozen. DO NOT THAW.
GENERALINSTRUCTION: Wrap tube in aluminium foil to protect from light. 12 -14 Hrs. fasting is preferred.
