Description
The Varicella vaccine, commonly known as the chickenpox
vaccine is a shot that protects young children and adults from catching chicken
pox, a contagious disease caused by the varicella-zoster virus (VZV).

age and the second dose after a minimum gap of 3 months. For adolescents and
adults as well, it is given in two doses a minimum of 4 weeks apart.
