Sample: Submit 2 ml. (1ml. Minimum) CSF in a sterile screw capped container OR Blister Fluid/Swab from base of ulcer in 1ml. sterile normal saline/phosphate buffered saline (PBS) in a sterile screw capped container.
OR fresh tissue in sterile normal saline. Send refrigerated in cool gel packs. EDTA plasm DO NOT FREEZE.
