Technique: High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
Technique: 50 ml. (10 ml. Minimum) well mixed aliquot of Random Urine in a sterile, screw capped plastic container. Collect urine by adding 50% HCL (6N HCL) drop - by - drop to maintain pH between1- 3. Do not use concentrated HCL.
Technique: 2-8C
Sample Collection Instruction: The patient should strictly avoid plum, banana, Kiwis, walnut, avocado, eggplant, pineapple, tomato & drugs including paracetamol, melphalan, fluorouracil, isoniazid, salicylates, heparin, L - dopa, MAO inhibitors, promethazine, phenothiazines, imipramine & alcoholic beverages, tea/coffee, caffeine, tobacco & stressful exercise at least 3 days before & during specimen collection.
