Sample Collection Instruction: 12 -14 Hrs. (Overnight) fasting is preferred. Specify age & sex on test requisition form. After withdrawal of fasting glucose sample, patient should be advised normal to heavy meal & note the time when he/she finishes the meal. The PP sample must be withdrawn exactly after
2 hours of a normal to heavy meal.
